Great Pro Recording studio in a mega peaceful area! You can hunker down and make the magic without distractions! Erik is an ace engineer and musician. He has elevated technical skills, with all the tech needs and gear required for a professional full spectrum sound. I was at Twin Pines recently for vocal recording & to collaborate w/Erik on additional instrumentation for my latest track. I *highly* recommend this very professional, scenic studio as the place to go for exceptional quality & a memorable experience.

The Details:
So many factors go into creating a truly splendid recording studio. Any professional musician knows it’s about more than the equipment- it’s also the room construction, the engineer, and the vibe. I’ve worked in a lot of studios across the US & am very particular about what kind of environment I work in. Twin Pines went above & beyond my requirements.

This space is impeccably constructed, designed, and outfitted. It’s replete with high-end technology and instruments. On top of that, the location is *incredibly* scenic, which contributed in a big way to getting into that creative space that can be so hard to attain when you’re busy and/or in the city. This is the kind of studio I’d love to just camp out in and record my next album.

On top of all *that*, Erik is one of the best humans I’ve worked with in the studio, and in music in general. He created a welcoming, chill space for me to work in, and was an incredible collaborator (and if you don’t know how insanely talented he is at playing all the instruments, he can create sick tracks/parts, too). It’s well worth your while to hop in the car, get a change of scenery, and work with the best.

I have used Twin Pines for my latest album and I have to say the sound is immaculate. The drum sound in particular is second to none. Erik has dialed the studio in to produce one of the tightest, punchiest drum sounds I've ever had. He's super easy to work with, goes above and beyond to accommodate the project, and I would highly recommend this studio to anyone.”

Erik Eldenius, drummer, engineer and Twin Pines studio owner is every song writer, and artists dream in the studio. He usually nails his drum track in one take. I couldn’t be happier with how he elevated my songs. His drum sounds are as good as you can get. And along with his engineering and editing skills, is a kindness, and concern to make your song the best it can be. He’s a song guy! There is a reason Erik has been playing drums for many years throughout the world with rock icon Billy Idol!”

“When you’re recording new music it’s best to have as little distractions as possible. At Twin Pines the fresh air and view makes one forget about the traffic and noise of Los Angeles so you can peacefully relax and concentrate on the matter at hand.Tracking your song.”

-Jeff Young

“This is THE place if you’re looking to escape city life and find peaceful, inspiring vibes to fuel your next recording. Erik’s studio is set up in such a way that you forget about time and outside pressures and just get lost in the passion of making music. Erik is not only an amazing touring drummer, but also a multi instrumentalist/producer/engineer with a great ear for tone and arrangements. Wether it’s a singer-songwriter or full band, his studio has all you need to track your next record, and with the added bonus of being located in the middle of a beautiful little mountain town with lots of hiking trails and scenic views just outside the door. Highly recommended!”

“Not only is Erik Eldenius a World class drummer, he is also a world class engineer/producer. The vibe in this mountain retreat is some of the coolest I’ve ever experienced. Great gear, an array of drums and other instruments, as well as a fun atmosphere, bring us an experience we can always count on to produce the highest caliber of creative results. We look forward to our sessions here and are always happy with not only the experience but the resulting work.”

-Nik Frost

“A peaceful and creative space up in the beautiful local Southern Californian mountains. Erik’s Twin Pines Studio delivers excellent sonic quality as well as exceptional vibes. I always come back to LA feeling refreshed and rejuvenated after spending a couple or a few days up there. Erik has good taste and knows how to get good sounds. And he knows his way around a barbecue grill for good measure.”
